We are currently seeking a part-time (50% fixed term contract), enthusiastic Mathematics and Physics teacher to join our dedicated and committed teaching faculty. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an outstanding teaching ability and be experienced in teaching one or both of these subjects to IB Diploma Level. Candidates who are able to offer additional subjects are particularly encouraged to apply.

A willingness to work collaboratively and plan across the curriculum to meet the needs of all learning abilities is essential as is the desire to work closely with parents and to support school events. The school enjoys modern well-resourced classrooms, small class sizes, outstanding academic results and excellent facilities. The international dimension of the school provides a very stimulating, vibrant and warm atmosphere in which to work. Situated within the city of Antwerp, the school is easy to reach by both public transport and car.

Da Vinci International School is a non-selective school with an inclusive admissions policy. Children of all academic abilities are stretched, challenged and supported throughout all sections of the school. Pastoral care is also an important part of school life and all staff are expected to support, advise and guide children in their roles as class teacher or form tutor.

Candidates applying for this positions must:

  • have a suitable teaching qualification
  • have relevant experience teaching IB Diploma Mathematics and/or Physics
  • have excellent written and spoken English skills
  • possess the correct permits/visas for working in the European Union
